Birdwatching Presentation For West Papua People
In August 2025, Birding Indonesia was invited by Fauna & Flora International (FFI) to give a presentation about birdwatching to West Papua people in Rajaampat, Indonesia. Mehd Halaouate is the one who deliver the presentation. There were more than 25 people attended the class for 2 days indoor and 1 day outdoor.
Parrot Care Training
Continuing our commitments for bird conservation in Indonesia, on 28th-29th November 2024, we delivered a training for Parrot Care Management to Sorong, West Papua Forestry (BBKSDA) staffs. This training is aiming for capacity building for forestry staffs who already worked hard in protecting animals from smugglers. Therefore, the confiscated animals, especially parrots which are often found in a big amount of quantity, can be taken care correctly for rehabilitation before release to the west papuan forests again.
Birdwatching Training With Aquablu
Aquablu is one of the luxurious cruise ship in Indonesia. The management asked us to train their staff for birdwatching. We are very pleased to help all of these wonderful, warm hearted crews when they were on a cruise to Rajaampat waters. We held the classroom lessons in the ship’s dining room with full of joy. Then continue the field observation just at the above of their ship.
Birdwatching For Beginners
This program is designed for individuals who wants to get to know about birdwatching and birds life. It is perfect for schools students, from kindegarten, primary, junior high, to senior high students, since we do it with sharing lots of fun moments together.
